ROCK PLATFORM: wear an AS4758 lifejacket, watch the swell for 20–30 min first, wear non-slip footwear, never fish alone, never turn your back on the ocean. Waverley is not listed among mandatory-lifejacket LGAs by DPI, but wearing one is strongly advised. Check the nearby Bondi/Mackenzies Point Intertidal Protected Areas (no bait collecting).
