ROCK PLATFORM: wear an AS4758 lifejacket, watch the swell for 20–30 min first, wear non-slip footwear, never fish alone, never turn your back on the ocean. The Central Coast has declared high-risk rock fishing areas where a lifejacket is required by law, so wear one here.
