DPI-listed spot; obey wharf signs (some wharves ban fishing at set hours; fines up to $250). Ferries have right of way. Sydney Harbour foreshore is an Intertidal Protected Area: no collecting bait or shellfish. Dioxin advice (east of Harbour Bridge): eat no more than ~150 g/month of most species.
